Drawing Case

Fold your own envelope

This is a pretty basic idea, but still good, especially considering how many magazines AND envelopes the average household goes through in one month. Instead of buying envelopes, fold your own, then address either with a permanent marker or slap a blank sticker on and write on that. It’s colorful and saves a few trees. [via]

Don’t thow out those bags!

Either crochet them into a reusable shopping bag (I have one made of old cloth strips that I use ALL THE TIME) or sew a cool little bag to store them for general reuse.

Blackboard Idea Globe

I’ve been a huge fan on chalkboard paint since I first heard about it. Friends of mine painted the area above their phone for easy message-taking, and it would be a great idea in a kid’s room. But this idea, I think, is tops. Paint an old globe and use it to write yourself notes or to draw your own countries. [via]
