SYNERGY - LM3875 GAINCLONE AMP

Amp.jpg

Gio is at it again! We just received this email from him regarding the new project on his site:

“Mark [Houston] has been cooking and put together a Gainclone amplifier project. This chip amplifier uses the popular LM3875 chip and point-to-point wiring. This amp follows the idea of the 47 Laboratory gaincard amplifier, “rigid and compact”. The enclosure for this amplifier is an aluminum cooking pan and a wooden cutting board.”

Detailed pictures strewn about the article make it easy to follow, and fun to produce!

Latex Wounds/Lacerations

Gore Blood.jpg

This instructable teaches you how to make theatre/Hollywood quality lacerations and wounds out of latex and a few other accessories. If you’re familiar with those really bad art kits that everyone gets from Walgreens or the hobby store, the stipple brush/sponge is HORRIBLE for painting, but awesome for Hollywood makeup. Repurposing is awesome, and lacerations are too (but not real ones).

They’re awesome, and with Halloween just around the corner, DIY:happy’s going to be moving in the Halloweeny direction. This instructional has five chapters of sewing and composition of this hat. It’s awesome, detailed, there are pictures, and it’s not that difficult if you know how to sew - or if you know someone who does.

$10 XY Laser Scanner

Lazzzzerrrrr.jpg

Well, the pictures in this particular article aren’t the greatest, but they get the message across. Some of the diagram labels are in French, and they say things like “reglage direction” (adjustment/tuning direction) and “puissance” (power) . If you can disregard all that, you can build this sweet laser scanner for ten bucks, which is a good deal - all things considered. And you have all the bragging rights in France.
