We tend to spend a lot of time sprucing up our own living environments without thinking of the little guys. Spiders must be bored with the same old, same old - so why not spruce up spidey’s pad with a little flare? Nina Katchadourian has pioneered the art for us, repairing our arachnid friend’s homes - restoring their functional beauty and creating a live art piece. Of course, the spiders always reject the artwork sometime in the night. I guess they just don’t know good art when they see it.

We always cringe when we see these busted iPhone pictures floating around the net. What a shame. The good news out there for anybody struggling with broken iPhone blues is that you can actually replace the glass yourself on the cheap. In fact, making your own replacement will cost you less than a good lunch.

This swiss army key uses a Leatherman Micra to bring you about the slimmest, easiest to carry version of your keys that you’re going to get. People will look at you funny, your girlfriend will dump you, and you won’t even be able to tell which track you’re listening to - but you’ll be happy knowing you saved the $50 a low-end car stereo would have cost you. Oh, your calculator watch only does addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division? Why not get a real man’s watch? This thing can do algebraic equations and presumably even tells time. Ever since I was a kid I’ve been obsessed with the concept of bio-spheres. Little self-contained ecosystems where nothing but light enters and nothing but enjoyment and wonder exit. The most advanced biospheres can last many years and even contain small snails and the like. While Wild Planet’s Spy Car looks like a lot of fun, you’re really getting quite a bit for under $100. Check out that kid’s cyborg-like head mounted display, for example. These people seem really serious about making their own bras. I don’t have experience in that department, so can’t give you much insight. But if making your own underwear is your thing, head on over to the Bra making class.

Some good ideas for bras:

Little loops on the straps for ammo (like a gun belt)
Pockets on the inside of the cups for money
Electrification for anyone who tries to cop a feel
Lasers (I don’t care how you implement them - just … lasers)

If you can’t get enough of those comfortable bucket seats, bring ‘em inside office chair style. This chair is great for car enthusiasts, race car game players, and people who like to sit down. Use an old seat from that beater on your front lawn, or go buy a new fancy leather one from your local exotic automobile showroom. Whatever you do, just remember to always wear your seatbelt.
