8×8 Animated Signboard

This is probably the simplest LED lightboard project I have seen. This one creates an 8×8 grid on which you can draw smiley faces, letters, or rude objects to your hearts content. Make it into an animated button for your shirt or a message board for people driving to close (”B … A … C … K … O … F … F … !”). Software is included, and if you don’t have a PIC burner you can purchase pre-programmed chips.
