As long as we're on the subject of making your own instruments, here is a cool-looking PVC instrument that looks straight out of a blue man group show. You can play it with your hands or mallets, and build it to play whatever notes you want. Using this and our Cajon, we'll have a DIY:happy band going in not time!

Hi Folks

I'm trying to find plans for Blue Man Group type instruments to build of PVC and place outside at my school campus. I need pipe lengths and diameters for a complete scale. It would be a lot of fun for the kids. Can you help?
