When I was in middle school
When I was in middle school as a kid I made several boomerangs in shop class. We made them the traditional type that were shaped like a Parentheses. We cut them out of thick plastic and then heated them with a hair drier in the center to give them a slight bend. They actually worked flying 3/4 the distance of a football field only to come heading back our way. Had to watch out though, they were moving quick and if you didnt catch it just right, OUCH. nice memory other than that. heheh.
