Here is the construction log for a MIDI control box. It is used to control Ableton Live or Logic Pro. Using a Doepfler pocket electronics MIDI kit and a TRESPA faceplate, I have to say it looks pretty shnazy. Furthermore, It can be used on the fly or preset and parameters can be assigned to each of it's 8 buttons, 6 pots, and 2 faders.
