Custom MIDI ControlBox

51 150463183 9Ea6F7Abb8Here is the construction log for a MIDI control box. It is used to control Ableton Live or Logic Pro. Using a Doepfler pocket electronics MIDI kit and a TRESPA faceplate, I have to say it looks pretty shnazy. Furthermore, It can be used on the fly or preset and parameters can be assigned to each of it’s 8 buttons, 6 pots, and 2 faders. Even if you’re not interested in this particular project, there are some cool photos to show you good ways to use an enclosure.

what is TRESPA? it looks very nice. Can it be cut with regular tools or does it require special skills?
    Where can I get some?

Check trespa.com - I think this is the same trespa as mentioned in this tutorial. Their website kinda stinks though…
