Fold Your Own Plants

plants.0.jpg

I have a black thumb and can’t keep anything green alive. I’ve even killed a cactus. But I think I might be able to manage to keep paper plants alive for at least a month … here’s the site where you can print them up and fold them. It’s in Chinese, but the folding itself is easy to understand without words. [via]

Also, for those that prefer to fold from scratch:

http://www.oriland.com/studio/gallery.asp?ID=Plants - this site gives directions for a variety of folding projects, with a page dedicated to plants and flowers

http://www.origami.com/diagram.html - here you can sort the projects by folding difficulty, but I recommend checking out the iris, it made the perfect Mother’s Day gift this past year
