Frozen Pesto from the Chick in the Kitchen

We love getting tips from readers here at DIY:happy. But I must say that none of our tips showed me the light as much as this one, from a lovely reader apparently named HNNNNNNNNNNN, who reminded me that, as a woman, I should "get back in the kitchen and make some sammiches."

Well, HNNNNNNNNNNN, that’s just where I went. And what I found was great. There’s a stove, a refrigerator, some food and a whole lotta femininity just oozing out of there. And there’s this great idea to freeze pesto so when you need it, you can simply grab it from the freezer and add it to your recipes.

I do the same thing, but what I like to do is make some veggie faux-chicken soup cubes base - so I have soup base whenever I need it, but in small enough cube portions that I don’t have to completely thaw out the whole batch each time just to get what I want.
