McGuyver Postal Scale

This postal scale will only take a few minutes to put together, and allow you to do weight measurements for mail or other lightweight things.  The guide shows counter-weights as Indian coins, but you could obviously use any coins from your country so long as you know what they weigh.  Look around the site a bit, there are many more small projects that can be easily made and tons of DIY-type resources.
