Paper Record Player

Picture 3-6Unfortunately there aren’t any step by step instructions here, but this would be a really cool project to figure out. A record player made completely out of paper. Even the speaker (cone) and turning mechanism are paper. It is powered manually by turning a, you guessed it, paper crank.

I made something like this as a youth. You merely tape a straight pin to the small end of the cone and then use a pencil to manually rotate the record. It actually works somewhat, though the speed regulation is difficult, and the sound is quite faint.
