The Stunning Camera
Here’s a fun one for the kids - a camera that unloads its capacitor into YOU instead of the flash! Please note before undertaking such a project that electrocuting people isn’t really very funny, and you never know if people have medical conditions which might not mix well with high doses of electricity. That said, this is still and interesting little project.

I wouldn’t recommend this project to anyone. You can get localized burns. Even though the battery is low voltage the capacitor delivers a high current. After you take a picture with a disposable camera you hear a somewhat high pitch hum. That is the capacitor absorbing the energy from the battery. This can actually stop someone’s heart in rare instances. A stupid project to post, especially a “fun one for the kids”. Are you that desperate for projects to post? Not at all interesting if you are familiar with the dangers of electrical current.
